X-Ray, Micro and Macro Tests

At the start of each shift, or the beginning of a production batch, a quantity of cylinders are selected for X-ray radiographic tests to ensure the automatic machines are selected for X-ray radiographic tests to ensure the automatic machines are producing top class, consistent results. Micrographic and macrographic tests confirm good results too.

Mechanical Tests

Mechanical tests, including tensile and bend tests on specimens are carried out on dedicated machines, and result recorded on Independent Inspection Compliance Certificates.

Hydraulic and Pneumatic Test

Sample cylinders are routinely tested to destruction by severe over pressure to prove the large margin of safety, and every cylinder is pneumatically air tested under water against leaks, especially pinholes.

Thread Projector Tests

All threads are sampled and checked on the thread projector to confirm they are within tolerance.

All designs and drawings are checked and approved by International Independent Inspectorates, Once approved, all raw material specifications are checked, manufacturing processes, results, tests etc. are independently checked and confirmed. Finally, the Independent Inspectors issue Compliance Certificates to the relevant standard.
