Sahamitr Pressure Container Public Company Limited (SMPC), represented by Mr. Santiphong Tankanok, Sales Director, participated in the 7th West Africa LPG Expo 2026, held from 2-3 September 2026 at Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
Recognized as a major LPG industry event in West Africa, the expo brought together government leaders, industry experts, international partners, investors, and clean energy advocates to exchange ideas, foster collaboration, and drive the transition toward modern and sustainable household energy.
This event highlighted the importance of accelerating access to clean, modern, and affordable cooking energy by promoting greater access to liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). LPG plays a significant role in improving quality of life by helping to reduce air pollution and health risks, while also creating employment opportunities throughout the industry’s value chain.
SMPC’s participation accentuates the company’s commitment, as a leading global LPG cylinders manufacturer, to supporting access to clean, safe, and sustainable energy. The event also provided an important platform for SMPC to strengthen relationships with industry stakeholders and explore opportunities to further expand its presence in the West African market, a region with strong potential for continued growth in LPG consumption.
